Bedroom Wall Writing Stencils
As we get more creative in the home, we've started to embrace stencils and stickers on our walls. If you're looking for a design that's not available in wallpaper, they can be the perfect solution. Often, they work out a lot cheaper too as you can use the same stencil to create a repetitive pattern all over your wall.
I'm a huge fan of both stickers and stencils and I've gathered my top picks for your viewing pleasure…
Bedroom chandelier
Can't afford the real thing? A chandelier brings luxury into your bedroom. Overlapping the stencil design and alternating the heights of each chandelier gives the impression of hanging lights.

The birdcage
Tweet tweet! Birds are always a good pick for wall designs. Symbolising peace and freedom, they will help reduce your anxiety and get you feeling errrr… as free as a bird.

Kitchen recipe
Serve up a recipe of a tasty dish on your walls to get you feeling inspired in the kitchen. 'How to create the perfect burrito' would be my pick. What about you?

Literary motto
Displaying an upbeat phrase on your walls is a bit like having a tattoo that reads, 'Seize the day' or 'Live, laugh, love'. It can act as a pick me up and remind you of what's important. This one's a favourite of mine as it's not as cheesy as most. The reading reference helps lift a room that could be pretty dull if the bookcase were the only decoration.

Safari print
This safari stencil is small but effective. It softens the nursery and if it were placed opposite a crib, it would give the baby something to focus on. One of the best things about this is that the stencil can be personalised, so that the colour matches the rest of the room decor. If you had a pale yellow and grey colour scheme, maybe you'd want to turn the elephant back to grey.

Tree branches
The tree is brilliant for the home because of its association with the family tree. I love the way family memories become a part of the tree's growth, as the pictures mark the end of branches.

Chalkboard dots
Back to the kitchen and there's something about being able to write on the walls in a tidy way which is so appealing. Erasable stickers are novel, especially in the kitchen, as it's the perfect place to write a shopping list – or to-do list -as you think about the day ahead while you sip your morning coffee.

The regal touch
This one's an acquired taste but anything to do with The Royal Family gets my seal of approval. This sticker (the Queen's face) and stencil (surrounding frame) combo is steeped in tradition and would help give the home its own place on the map.

Vintage stamps
Perhaps the most innovative, the layering of the French poem and Paris postage stamp stencils is quirky and fun! Do you like? I don't just like it, j'adore it!
